Mead took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 22-14 win over the Weeping Water Indians. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 16-14 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Mead can attribute much of their success to Mason Reed, who threw for 148 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 33 yards and one score.
