Soccer Game Preview: Staunton River vs. Fleming

Staunton River hasn't had much luck against Fleming recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Golden Eagles will challenge the Colonels at 7:00 p.m. Staunton River has given up an average of 4.4 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Staunton River fell victim to Northside and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, Fleming's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Jefferson Forest by a score of 3-2.

Staunton River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13-1. As for Fleming, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.

Staunton River suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Fleming in their previous meeting back in April. Can the Golden Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
