Volleyball Recap: Stoughton Black Knights vs. Seekonk Warriors
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oliver Ames, Stoughton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Seekonk Warriors. The victory was some much needed relief for the Black Knights as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 25-15.
Amy Nguyen had a dynamite game for Stoughton, getting 20 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Nguyen has posted in her last eight games. Another player making a difference was Alysandra Joseph, who had eight aces.
She wasn't the only good server: Stoughton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Stoughton's record now sits at 6-8. As for Seekonk, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
