Volleyball Game Preview: Fair Grove Eagles vs. Diamond Wildcats

The Fair Grove Eagles will head out to challenge the Diamond Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Thursday, Fair Grove came up short against Strafford and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 21-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Diamond earned a 3-1 victory over Marionville on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Comets: they've now won four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 22-25, 26-24.

Diamond's victory bumped their record up to 18-8-1. As for Fair Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11-3.

Everything went Fair Grove's way against Diamond in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Fair Grove made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
