Soccer Game Preview: Everett vs. Lynn English

The Everett Crimson Tide will challenge the Lynn English Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Everett's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Boston College High on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Everett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 117th, while Boston College High are ranked 27th).

Meanwhile, Lynn English also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 2-0 to Chelsea on Thursday. The shutout was out of character for Lynn English seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Lynn English's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-5. As for Everett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7-5.
