Jackson Academy was led to victory by Mike Williams and Mason Williams. Williams scored 15 points along with five rebounds, while Williams scored 19 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The contest was Williams' 20th in a row with at least ten points. Marcus Goodloe was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Jackson Academy's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-1. As for Starkville Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.
