Softball Recap: Radford Comes Up Short

Radford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 18-0 to the Glenvar Highlanders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 back in April.

Radford's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Glenvar, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Radford and Glenvar will both be playing James River the next time they take the field. The Highlanders will head out to face the Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Bobcats will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
