Sherwood Christian Academy have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Holy Ground Baptist Academy at 7:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest.

Sherwood Christian Academy had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 21-12 win over Hancock Academy. The success made it back-to-back wins for Sherwood Christian Academy.

Last week, Holy Ground Baptist Academy put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They made easy work of Hancock Academy and carried off a 30-8 victory. With Holy Ground Baptist Academy ahead 20-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Their wins bumped Sherwood Christian Academy to 2-2 and Holy Ground Baptist Academy to 4-0. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Sherwood Christian Academy and Holy Ground Baptist Academy clash.
