Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Civic Memorial). They put the hurt on the Jersey Panthers with a sharp 6-0 victory on Tuesday. Avery Huddleston had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Civic Memorial.

Civic Memorial's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Jersey, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Civic Memorial will welcome Triad at 5:40 p.m. on Thursday. Triad will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Civic Memorial surely won't give up without a fight.
