Basketball Game Preview: Seymour Eagles vs. Heritage Mountaineers

Seymour hasn't had much luck against Heritage recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Seymour Eagles will welcome the Heritage Mountaineers at 6:00 p.m. Seymour is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Seymour will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Gatlinburg-Pittman, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Seymour snuck past Gatlinburg-Pittman with a 41-36 victory on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Heritage earned a 63-50 win over Lenoir City on Tuesday. The Mountaineers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Seymour's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points over those games. As for Heritage, their victory bumped their record up to 19-2.
