Volleyball Recap: Desert Pines Finds Home Court Redemption Against Canyon Springs

There's no place like home for Desert Pines, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Canyon Springs Pioneers 3-0 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Jaguars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Desert Pines won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 26-24.

Hostin Espinosa Martinez paced Desert Pines' offense, picking up nine kills. Espinosa Martinez got some help from Aukusitino Afoa and his 12 assists. Espinosa Martinez was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.
