Palmer had already won 11 in a row and they went ahead and made it 12 on Friday. Everything went their way against the Hillsboro Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Bulldogs were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Bulldogs were just returning the favor.

Palmer never let Hillsboro on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-17.

Lexey Maxwell paced Palmer's offense, picking up 15 kills. Maxwell got some help from Harley Ellis and her 15 assists. Ellis and Maxwell didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Hillsboro, they moved to 16-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Palmer will welcome Cross Roads at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillsboro, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Whitney on the 30th.
