Volleyball Game Preview: Platteview Trojans vs. Malcolm Clippers

The Platteview Trojans will face off against the Malcolm Clippers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Platteview sitting on 11 straight victories and Malcolm on three.

On Thursday, Platteview got the win against Wahoo by a conclusive 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-12, 25-19.

Platteview got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Camille Carlson out in front who had eight digs.

Meanwhile, Malcolm made easy work of Ashland-Greenwood on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Malcolm won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-16.

Platteview's win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Malcolm, their victory bumped their record up to 17-6.
