Softball Game Preview: C.A. Johnson Hornets vs. Great Falls Red Devils

C.A. Johnson fell victim to Lewisville and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Lions. The Hornets' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Great Falls had taken Richard Winn Academy down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. Great Falls came up short against Richard Winn Academy, falling 15-2. The loss leaves the Red Devils still looking for their first win of the season.

Great Falls saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Wilson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Wilson also hit a double, marking her first of the season.

Great Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for C.A. Johnson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

C.A. Johnson couldn't quite finish off Great Falls in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can C.A. Johnson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
