Hanover Area starts season with loss at home

Hanover Area couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They suffered a tough 17-4 loss at the hands of the Crestwood Comets on Friday. The defeat means Hanover Area is still on the hunt for the season's first 'W'.

For Crestwood's part, Brooke Lenahan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Lenahan was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
