Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Normal University, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2-1.

Looking ahead, Centennial will be playing at home against Urbana at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Normal University, they will host Decatur Eisenhower at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Normal University are facing Decatur Eisenhower at the right time seeing as Decatur Eisenhower are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
