Pleasant Valley has gone 8-2 against Muscatine recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Muskies at 7:00 p.m. Muscatine took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pleasant Valley, who comes in off a win.

Pleasant Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Hempstead, posting a 40-13 victory. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Muscatine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Dubuque Senior and fell 35-7.

The victory got Pleasant Valley back to even at 2-2. As for Muscatine, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
