Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eleanor Roosevelt). They came out on top against the Suitland Rams by a score of 80-67 on Tuesday. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Raiders were down 45-31 in the second quarter.

Despite the defeat, Suitland saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ezra Rich posted 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tacari Suggs, who put up 12 points.

Eleanor Roosevelt is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points over those games. Suitland's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-9.

Eleanor Roosevelt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 68-62 defeat against Laurel on the 20th. As for Suitland, they have also already played their next contest, a 65-44 win against Parkdale on the 21st.
