Heritage was forced to take a big defeat against they on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Loudoun Valley Vikings. This was a revenge game for the Pride: when they faced off against the Vikings on Tuesday, they had to take a 8-2 loss.

The team relied heavily on Erick Flores, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Cooper Miskelly was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Loudoun Valley, they moved to 6-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Heritage wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-3 loss against Tuscarora on the 29th. As for Loudoun Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Loudoun County on the 29th.
