Soccer Game Preview: Thomas County Central vs. Coffee

The Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets will head out on the road to challenge the Coffee Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Thomas County Central is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Houston County just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Coffee's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to Jeff Davis. That's two games in a row now that Coffee have lost by exactly two goals.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 7-3. As for Coffee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Thomas County Central took their win against Coffee in their previous matchup on March 4th by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Thomas County Central since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
