Basketball Recap: Hoosick Falls Takes a Loss

Hoosick Falls entered their contest against Greenville on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hoosick Falls Panthers fell 52-41 to the Greenville Spartans. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Panthers came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Spartans are ranked 228th).

Hoosick Falls' loss dropped their record down to 19-4. As for Greenville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Hoosick Falls nor Greenville have any future games scheduled.
