Soccer Recap: Catskill Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Catskill can now relate to. They lost 5-2 to the Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Catskill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while Cobleskill-Richmondville are ranked 165th).

Catskill has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Cobleskill-Richmondville, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4-1.

As of now, neither Catskill nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
