Basketball Recap: Judge Memorial Catholic Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Judge Memorial Catholic lost against American Heritage back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs received a blow as they fell 75-60 to the American Heritage Patriots. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Judge Memorial Catholic lost, don't look at JJ Apathjang. Despite the final result, he went 13 of 22 en route to 33 points and four steals. The match was Apathjang's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Deng Deng, who posted 12 points and five rebounds.

Judge Memorial Catholic's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9. As for American Heritage, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Summit Academy the next time they take the court. Judge Memorial Catholic will head out to face Summit Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while American Heritage will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
