            Baseball Recap: Mount Vernon Majors vs. Justice Wolves        
        
		
        
        
            Mount Vernon hadn't done well against Justice recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. Mount Vernon put the hurt on Justice with a sharp  16-3 victory. For the Majors, this counts as revenge for the   4-3 win the Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in April of 2024.
 Harry Sliger made a big impact no matter where he played. He  struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   six  hits. Those  six  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was even better at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
