Volleyball Game Preview: Maple Grove Crimson vs. Osseo Orioles + Official Tickets

The Maple Grove Crimson will take on the Osseo Orioles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maple Grove will be looking to extend their current 22-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Maple Grove beat Southwest Christian 3-1.

Maple Grove was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 19-25, 25-20.

Maple Grove can attribute much of their success to Tess Schuler, who had 15 digs and one assist, and Mckinley Hardle, who had ten digs and three aces. That's the most aces Hardle has posted over her last six contests.

Meanwhile, Osseo came up short against Spring Lake Park on Saturday and fell 2-0. The loss continues a trend for the Orioles in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Osseo's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Maple Grove, their win bumped their record up to 26-3.

Everything went Maple Grove's way against Osseo in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Maple Grove made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Crimson repeat their success, or do the Orioles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
