Xenia is 9-1 against Greenville since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Xenia Buccaneers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Greenville Green Wave at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Xenia is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Tippecanoe on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Xenia came up short against Tippecanoe, falling 67-46. While losing is never fun, the Buccaneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 634th, while the Red Devils are ranked 176th).

Meanwhile, Greenville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. The game between them and Troy didn't end well, with Greenville falling 52-34.

Xenia will need focus on slowing down David Conway, one of several Greenville players who made an impact when they last played. He posted eight points and seven boards. Those seven rebounds gave Conway a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Owen Mcgreevey, who earned six points and five boards.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Xenia, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
