Basketball Recap: Oakland Mills Takes a Loss

Oakland Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 50-40 to the Glenelg Gladiators. The match marked the Scorpions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Oakland Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Glenelg, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6.

Oakland Mills will square off against Marriotts Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Marriotts Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.2 points per game this season. As for Glenelg, they will take on Howard at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Howard's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
