Volleyball Recap: Walled Lake Western Warriors vs. Okemos Wolves
On Saturday, the Walled Lake Western Warriors didn't have quite enough to beat the Okemos Wolves and fell 2-1.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Walled Lake Western sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 24-26, 15-7.
Okemos found their leader in underclassman Rowan Smith, who had nine digs and two aces.
Walled Lake Western's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Okemos, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-13-3.
Walled Lake Western does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Okemos has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against St. Catherine of Siena Academy on the 19th.
