Softball Game Preview: Spencer Rockets vs. Phillips Loggers

Spencer is on a six-game streak of home losses, and Phillips a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Spencer Rockets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Phillips Loggers at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Spencer's offense. They lost 11-0 to Columbus Catholic on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Phillips also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Edgar on Friday, falling 8-0.

Phillips' loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Spencer, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
