Basketball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison lost against Austin back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Madison Marlins took a 37-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Austin Mustangs. The Marlins' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Austin was led to victory by Ashtian Glass and Hailey Alfaro. Glass posted 15 points, while Alfaro scored ten points.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Austin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Sterling the next time they take the court. Austin will head out to face Sterling at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, while Madison will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on January 23rd.
