Softball Recap: Shamokin Area's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Shamokin Area fell victim to Mifflinburg and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Wildcats. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Shamokin Area's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-5. As for Mifflinburg, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Shamokin Area wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 20-0 victory against Lewisburg on the 9th. As for Mifflinburg, they have also already played their next matchup, a 15-0 win against Milton on the 3rd.
