Flag Football Recap: Auburn Takes Down Ranked Prattville

Auburn faced Prattville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Tigers never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 19-14 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Auburn and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points in those games. As for Prattville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 12-5 record.

Coincidentally, Auburn and Prattville will both be playing Spain Park the next time they take the field. The Lions will host the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
