Baseball Recap: Mission Oak Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Mission Oak won the last time they faced Dinuba and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Hawks were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Emperors. Considering the Hawks have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Chase Break, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Mission Oak's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 6-8-1 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Ben Romans, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Mission Oak's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-8-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Dinuba, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

Mission Oak will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Emperors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
