Soccer Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Bob Jones Patriots, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 171st, while the Patriots are ranked 42nd).

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Bob Jones, they pushed their record up to 5-3-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Lee will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Randolph School at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Bob Jones, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Florence on the 7th.
