Palmetto extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Varian Terry. The Panthers breezed past the Homestead Broncos to the tune of 40-0 on Monday for which the team can thank Terry, who rushed for 153 yards and three scores on only five carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Palmetto's defense and their four sacks. Leading the way was Denzley Balthazar with two. Palmetto got some further help from Jaiden Henry: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made five total tackles.

Palmetto's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Homestead, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
