Softball Recap: Appalachian Takes a Loss

Appalachian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 13-1 to the Lincoln Golden Bears. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Appalachian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Lincoln, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-11-1.

Appalachian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-4 win against Gaston on the 5th. As for Lincoln, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-3 victory against Hokes Bluff on the 5th.
