Volleyball Recap: Desert Oasis Takes a Loss

Desert Oasis's tournament run continued when they took on Henley on Saturday. The Diamondbacks fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 2-1.

Charli Quinto paced Desert Oasis' offense, picking up nine kills. Quinto got some help from Riana Morales Imura and her eight assists. Quinto also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Bryli Allen, racking up two apiece.

Desert Oasis has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Henley, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Desert Oasis will host Arbor View at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Aggies will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Diamondbacks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Henley, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Yreka at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
