Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Desert Ridge). They blew past the Queen Creek Bulldogs 72-47 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Jaguars have posted since December 5, 2024.

Despite the defeat, Queen Creek saw an underclassman step up: freshman Amaya Rodgers posted 28 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rodgers has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Samarah Garduno, who had 11 points.

Desert Ridge's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 7-16. As for Queen Creek, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-21.

As of now, neither Desert Ridge nor Queen Creek have any future games scheduled.
