Football Preview: Springfield Millers vs. North Eugene Highlanders
Springfield and North Eugene are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Springfield Millers will be playing in front of their home fans against the North Eugene Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Springfield will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
Springfield is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 37 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Thurston on Friday. North Eugene relied on the efforts of Brody Gilliam, who threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns, and D'Mariyae Ireland, who gained 54 total yards and two touchdowns.
Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Eugene, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
