Baseball Recap: Christian Academy of Knoxville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lakeway Christian Academy on Tuesday, Christian Academy of Knoxville came back down to earth. The Warriors came up short against the Farragut Admirals on Saturday, falling 8-2. The Warriors have struggled against the Admirals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Tyler Bennett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Christian Academy of Knoxville's defeat dropped their record down to 22-8-1. As for Farragut, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Christian Academy of Knoxville is taking a road trip to square off against Baylor at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Farragut, they will venture away from home to face off against Rossview at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Admirals' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
