Wellesley has gone a perfect 6-0 against Brookline recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Raiders will head out on the road to square off against the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Friday, Wellesley ended up a good deal behind Walpole and lost 28-14. While the Raiders had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Timberwolves 7-0.

Meanwhile, Brookline fell victim to Watertown and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Raiders 35-0.

Brookline's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Wellesley, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Wellesley against Brookline in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 34-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
