Basketball Game Preview: Sutherlin Bulldogs vs. South Umpqua Lancers

The Sutherlin Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the South Umpqua Lancers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sutherlin has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Sutherlin will head out to face South Umpqua after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Sutherlin fell 67-58 to Siuslaw.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, South Umpqua beat Glide 47-43 on Friday. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

South Umpqua now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Sutherlin, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.

Sutherlin beat South Umpqua 47-40 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sutherlin since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
