Softball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 28-7 to the Chief Sealth Seahawks. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 15-3 to the Seahawks when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Chief Sealth, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Cleveland will be playing in front of their home fans against Ingraham at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chief Sealth, they will square off against Rainier Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 20.17 runs per game on average), something the Seahawks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
