Basketball Recap: Lena Comes Up Short

Lena lost against Sevastopol back in December of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lena Wildcats took a 67-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sevastopol Pioneers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lena's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Sevastopol, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lena will welcome Niagara at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lena's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. Sevastopol has already played their next matchup (against Goodman-Pembine), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
