Baseball Recap: South Carroll Takes a Loss

After flying high against Linganore last Wednesday, South Carroll came back down to earth. South Carroll fell 9-5 to the Winters Mill Falcons on Monday. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Drew Wilson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

South Carroll's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Winters Mill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, South Carroll will take on Liberty at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Winters Mill, they will square off against Poly on Wednesday.
