Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whitehouse). They never let the Marshall Mavericks onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Friday. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Mavericks are ranked 617th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Whitehouse has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five matches. As for Marshall, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Coming up, Whitehouse will venture away from home to square off against Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marshall, they will host Nacogdoches at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
