Recap: Eldorado Sundevils vs. Green Valley Gators
The Eldorado Sundevils lost against the Green Valley Gators back in December of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Eldorado suffered a tough 72-47 defeat at the hands of Green Valley. Eldorado has struggled against Green Valley recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Green Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brock Barney, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was Barney's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Villablanca, who scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds.
Eldorado now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Green Valley, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Eldorado will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Somerset Sky Pointe at 10:00 a.m. on December 2nd. Hopefully Somerset Sky Pointe focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Friday. As for Green Valley, they will square off against Silverado at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
