Sylmar had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Triumph Charter Jaguars by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sylmar took both sets by at least 17 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-5.

Sylmar's win bumped their record up to 20-12. As for Triumph Charter, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Coming up, Sylmar will play host again on Saturday to welcome Marquez, where the match is scheduled at 9:40 a.m. The Gladiators are coming into the game with seven straight defeats on the road, meaning the Spartans will have to defend against a squad out to prove they can win away from home. As for Triumph Charter, they will take on Eagle Rock in a tournament on Saturday.
