Softball Recap: Los Amigos Starts Season with Victory at Home

Los Amigos took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They never let the Century Centurions onto the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Centurions: they've now won three in a row.

Los Amigos got a massive performance out of Alina Mendez, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4. What's more, Mendez also posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ingrid Alvarado, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Los Amigos will face off against Santa Ana Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Century, they will take on Glenn at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Century is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak dating back to last season.
