Basketball Recap: South Bend Adams' Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

South Bend Adams won the last time they faced Mishawaka and things went their way on Wednesday too. The South Bend Adams Eagles secured a 55-51 W over the Mishawaka Cavemen. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Mishawaka's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tinayja Summers, who went 6 of 15 on her way to 15 points along with five boards and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Summers a new career-high in assists (three). Grace Matherly was another key player, putting up four points in addition to 22 rebounds and four steals.

South Bend Adams' victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Mishawaka, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

South Bend Adams has already played their next game, a 63-39 loss against Elkhart on the 23rd. As for Mishawaka, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 89-16 defeat against Northridge on the 24th.
